Kia is proud to be adding a brand-new model to their lineup and move into the full-size SUV market. The Kia Telluride is an all-new SUV that will be the largest to date that Kia offers. Sitting just above the Kia Sorento, the Telluride will offer a more spacious cabin with seating that can accommodate up to eight people comfortably, brand-new technology for entertainment and safety, as well as styling.
INTERIOR AND TECHNOLOGY
Developed as a full-size SUV with three row seating, the Telluride will seat up to eight people comfortably. The second row will include available reclining dual captain?s chairs that slide forward at the touch of a button for easy 3rd row access, while rear passengers can also enjoy available dual sunroofs and standard USB ports.
The Telluride will come equipped with Kia?s latest technology and will include a large touchscreen display, Driver Talk feature to amplify voice to rear passengers, the ability to connect more than one phone over Bluetooth®, Blind Spot View Monitor, Highway Driving Assist, Safe Exit Assist and Surround View Monitor to name a few. Not only is the Kia Telluride loaded with the latest in multimedia, but for safety as well.
EXTERIOR
The Telluride will be the largest car to be produced by Kia, and will be made for the US market. The front grille will be wide and high, all while featuring Kia?s tiger-nose styling. The dual-headlight layout sits up high on the body with stylish turn signals flanking them.
The Telluride boasts a sport stance for an off-road capable vehicle with flared sills, a sloping roofline, and no shortage of chrome trim around the windows; and with the placement and size of the windows, there will be no lack of visibility.
Power
Under the hood, you will find a 3.8 liter V-6 that puts out 291 hp and 262 lb-ft that is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The Telluride comes standard with Front-Wheel Drive, while All-Wheel Drive is an available option. The powertrain is constantly redistributing the power to the wheels, and has a tow capacity of up to 5,000 pounds and also features downhill brake control.
